I Wish This Moment Could Last Forever

I Wish This Moment Could Last Forever
Unique edition of 8
UV ink on pvc film, spray paint, gold leaf and acylic mirror on layered, laser cut wood panels
Alive, surreal, and heavily layered, this artwork is inspired by my song and poem “How Would It Feel?” The poem poses the question, “how would it feel to feel like this forever?”
The work is inspired by my frequent visits to Big Sur, CA and the Mohave desert. Just to be in a place so beautiful, so peaceful, it changes my perspective, and sometimes it’s hard to get back to “real life.” Nature reminds us of who we truly are.”
The artwork is four physical layers of 1/8” wood panels, each laser cut, revealing portions of the layer behind it, giving the piece a three dimensional surface. The shapes were hand painted before going through the laser cutter, and the photograpic prints are painted and drawn on making the work truly unique.
It comes with a wooden black float frame I handmade as a complement, but if you’d like to reframe it to match your aesthetic, it can easily be done.
