3D Mixed Media Assemblage

Every day, our decisions shape our future. Just as a new tree grows from the ground after a fire, life finds a way to endure and thrive. In this piece, colored lines rise, carved into the surface, as if in a dance with the new young tree, revealing the unseen vibrancy and resilience of life.

The piece is three physical layers of 1/4” wood panels, each laser cut, revealing portions of the layer behind it, giving the piece a three dimensional surface. The photograpic prints are painted and drawn on making the work truly unique.

It comes with a wooden black float frame I handmade as a complement, but if you’d like to reframe it to match your aesthetic, it can easily be done.
