3D Assemblage
This piece was inspired by Rob’s poem, “Nature Hates a Void” which includes the verse:

It’s what’s missing
That propels me forward
That fuels my ambition
To grow
And change

Sometimes the losses we suffer turn out to be our greatest gifts. The black and white photography contrasted with a vibrant wall of graffiti are the perfect marriage of balance and edge.

The piece is three physical layers of 1/4” wood panels, each laser cut, revealing portions of the layer behind it, giving the piece a three dimensional surface. The photograpic prints are painted and drawn on making the work truly unique.

It comes with a wooden black float frame I handmade as a complement, but if you’d like to reframe it to match your aesthetic, it can easily be done.
