Sculpture Installation - "12 Sunsets"

After nearly two years of starts, stops, and delays, my new sculpture “12 Sunsets” finally got installed in West Los Angeles, CA. I took photographs of sunsets in different cities from my travels, and layered exposures from one of my paintings to create the imagery. It spins around a steel rod to catch the light. I like the idea that no matter where you go in our tribalized, polarized planet, no matter what color, creed or religion we are, the sun shines and sets on us the same.
